"Turkey to send aid to Myanmar

The Turkish Red Crescent said yesterday it plans to send aid to cyclone-hit Myanmar.
The Turkish Red Crescent's Disaster Operations Center contacted the Myanmar Red Cross to offer assistance, reported Anatolia News Agency. The Turkish Red Crescent President Tekin Küçükali offered his condolences in a faxed statement to Myanmar. The Turkish Red Crescent also contacted the honorary Turkish Consulate in Myanmar and has begun preparations to deliver aid, organization said in a statement. "
