ANKARA, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Turkish Temperance Association estimated on Tuesday that nearly 100,000 Turkish people die of diseases caused by smoking cigarettes and other forms of to baccoevery year, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported. Turkey is ranked the fourth in the world in tobacco consumption, the association chairman Ahmet Sirri Arvas said, calling on Turkish people to quit smoking on the occasion of 'Quit Smoking Day' on Feb. 9."
