Istanbul wins the bid to host the Fifth World Water Forum in 2009. The forum will bring together thousands of experts in the field of water conservation who in turn will bring water policies to the international fore. Organizers say, as hosts, Istanbul's residents and leaders will be encouraged to conserve water"
