"Oktay Eksi: Maybe we should have waited another 49 years?
The Turkish press has been putting ample focus on the fact that the last Greek Prime Minister to have visited Turkey (49 years ago) before the current Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis was in fact Prime Minister Konstantin Karamanlis, the current PM's uncle.
As I said, 49 years passed between these two visits.
The great shame that emerges here, when we really look at it, is around 90% Greece's, and 10% Turkey's."
