"Turkish govt sends welfare reform bill to parlt
November 28 2007 (Adds comment, background) ANKARA, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Turkey's government has submitted a key social security reform package to parliament, state-run Anatolian news agency quoted Labour Minister Faruk Celik as saying on Wednesday. The International Monetary Fund, Turkey's main creditor, has been pressing hard for the long-delayed reform, which former president Ahmet Necdet Sezer had vetoed. The ministry was not immediately available for comment."
