"Israel denies claims in Turkish report it is undermining Temple Mount

Israel has vehemently denied claims that its archeological digs in and around the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is trying to undermine Islamic claims to the holy site. A Turkish report leaked to the press said “The digs that are being carried out greatly go beyond scientific needs and must be halted immediately.”"
