"German Greens back EU bid, want changes in immigration law

When the German Green Party convened last weekend for its annual party congress in Bavaria's Nuremberg, they addressed three Turkey-related issues high on the agenda. The party members took a clear stance regarding Turkey's accession to the European Union while also addressing the tension on the Iraqi border due to the presence of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in northern Iraq and the new German immigration law that critics say discriminates against Turks living there."
