"European Union wants pro-Kurdish DTP to remain in Parliament
The EU’s enlargement commissioner, Olli Rehn, said on Tuesday the bloc would prefer Turkey’s main pro-Kurdish political party to stay represented in Parliament instead of “in the mountains,” referring to the terrorist activities of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) based in the mountainous areas of northern Iraq."
