After 30 years of mistaken predilection for the fallacious terms 'Assyrian' and 'Chaldaean' for the great historical nation of Aramaeans of the Middle East, the famous and otherwise respectable German NGO “Gesellschaft fuer Bedrohte Voelker“ (The Society For Threatened Peoples) comes to the correct conclusion, admitting the mistake, and denouncing the destructive, suicidal role that the self-styled 'Assyrian' political group played against the Aramaean Nation. As the Identity and True Name issue concerns various oppressed or targeted nations in Asia, Africa, and Europe, we believe a better study of the subject will be of great benefit to all. "
