In view of his political background and personality, one would not have expected Doğu Perinçek, leader of the Turkish Workers' Party, to be in close cooperation with the Turkish state in its campaign against Armenian claims of genocide. At any rate, those who tried to talk to him found a person consenting to everything he is being advised, but doing the exact opposite."
