Local tourism leaders have welcomed the return of Turkish Airlines with three flights a week to Johannesburg and Cape Town.

The flag carrier, which brought large numbers of British tourists to South Africa, withdrew from the country five years ago to switch to more profitable routes. In a further development, Emirates Airlines has decided to introduce non-stop daily flights to Cape Town."
