Ubicom Inc., which focuses on communications processing and software, said Monday it opened a new research and development center in Turkey. Sunnyvale-based Ubicom said engineers at the center -- which occupies space in Gebze, Kocaeli office of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey's Marmara Research Center -- will work on advanced networking software development and quality assurance for the company's products."
