It seems that Katharine Kendrick set a precedent when she came to intern at the Turkish Daily News during her summer break before junior year at Yale University… The student-run organization, Yale Friends of Turkey (YFT), plans to collaborate with the International Bulldogs program to send Yale students each year to Turkey for summer internships.
