"US Ambassador Wilson: Turkey received $5B US investments in a year

US Ambassador to Ankara Ross Wilson underlined that the bilateral commercial and investment relations between the U.S. and Turkey increased lately, adding, “The commodity commerce was 10 billion dollars in the last year and direct investment from the U.S. to Turkey was 5 billion dollars in the last 12 months.”
Speaking in a conference entitled, “Creating Added Value: Establishing an Environment for Innovation and Change,” organized by the American Firms Association (ABFT), Wilson said that when he was appointed as the ambassador to Turkey he told his senators that one of his aims is to update and modernize the U.S.-Turkish relations."
