"Turkey urges Iraq to ban cross-border action

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul called on Iraq to ban Kurdish rebels from Kurdistan Workers Party to cross the borders, confirming that Turkey will do its utmost to safeguard its citizens. In a conference on security in Istanbul, Gul expected from Iraq to ensure its borders security. If it fails to do so, Gul suggested that coalition forces should take charge at the borders and called for cooperation with parties capable of solving the issue."
