Ralston says Iraqi Kurds should expel PKK

"Ralston says Iraqi Kurds should expel PKK
Retired Gen. Joseph Ralston, the United States' special envoy for countering the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), said Iraqi Kurds should take a more effective stance against the group.

'I would like to see the Iraqi Kurds putting pressure on the PKK and driving them away,' Ralston was quoted as saying by the Anatolia news agency during a panel discussion at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington. He said the PKK was a terrorist organization killing innocent civilians and added: 'They cannot be shown tolerance. They should be treated as murderers by everyone, including the United States.'"
