İzmir Bird Paradise is a shelter for 238 species of birds. It is also a breeding zone to 63 of these. However the place is no more a �Wild Life Protection Zone'. The two-month prior annulment of the regulation had paved the way for further annulments. This is according to Assistant Professor Dr. Mehmet Sıkı at Ege University comments with regards to the Ramsar and Natural Protected Area regulations that would jeopardize the paradise."
