The Turkish Entrepreneurs in Germany

Between the Turkish population in Germany in the 1990s a dynamic of having self-enterprise has developed. This mentality, which does not see working independently an alternative to working dependent, in other words, the high value added to working independently came out by the different lifestyle and working forms. In this context, the Turkish entrepreneur mentality emerging is like a synthesis of many parts of the Turkish and German socialization process. In one side being boldless, having flexibility, the Mediterranean-oriented communication skills and the service mentality, the Turkish entrepreneurs have the expertise gained from the German school and working life as the earnings field of the socialization process. In this context, it is not possible to explain these people's attempts to entrepreneurism by one sided approaches."
