(pressebox) Paderborn, 29.05.2007 - HALKBANK, a leading Turkish bank, has commissioned Wincor Nixdorf to automate its branch processes. Some 200 systems fitted with intelligent deposit modules will let customers, in future, deposit their cash directly at the bank's ATMs. And a further 550 new Wincor Nixdorf ATMs will enable customers to withdraw cash and query their account balances. All systems run self-service and surveillance software developed by Wincor Nixdorf. Rollout should be completed by the end of 2007. The bank will then have 1100 ATMs at its disposal-all of them Wincor Nixdorf systems. In winning this commission, Wincor Nixdorf again prevailed over some stiff competition, further expanding its self-service solution business in Turkey. "
