As local and foreign property investors with discerning taste gravitate towards the high end of the property market in Istanbul, the coastal regions of Turkey and Ankara, Sotheby's International Realty, a luxury franchise, is finding the Turkish market appealing. Alvaro Cardenas, their international development consultant, is currently in Istanbul, seeking investors. He talked to the TDN at the Ritz Carlton in Istanbul, where he is holding business meetings through May 5."
