Turkey's right-wing True Path Party ( DYP) and center-right Motherland Party (ANAP) signed a protocol here for union under the name of Democrat Party on Saturday, private NTV reported.
The protocol was signed by DYP Chairman Mehemet Agar and ANAP Chairman Erkan Mumcu to unite their parties, according to the report.
Turkish sources told Xinhua that Democrat Party chairman will be announced soon."
