The Russian Altimo holding has demanded advanced repayment of the credit ($1,3bln) from its Turkish partner, the Turkcell operator (Cukurova financial-industrial group) fearing the latter to announce a default. Analysts do not rule out Altimo is thus trying to boost its share in Turkcell bypassing another shareholder – the Scandinavian TeliaSonera."
