For Sibel Kocabasi, finding her painting style was like coming home.
An immigrant from Istanbul, Turkey, she began learning traditional Turkish arts at Mimar Sinan University's College of Fine Arts in Istanbul. She focused on the design of classic Turkish rugs, or kilim, and earned a bachelor of arts degree. 'I've always been interested in Turkish traditional art,' she said."
