Turkish scientists break world record with ‘borrowed' computing resources

"Turkish scientists break world record with ‘borrowed' computing resources
Turkish scientists, working under difficult situations compared to their foreign colleagues, have managed to achieve international success in the field of high-speed high-power computing.

Bilkent University Computational Electromagnetics Research Center (BiLCEM) has solved the largest integral-equation problem in history, breaking a world record. Project leader Professor Levent Gürel and his team managed to solve a problem with 33 million unknowns with a parallel computing platform that they prepared the hardware and software for. This system makes very high-level modeling possible."
