Istanbul, 14 Dec. (AKI) - Turkey, the only Muslim nation to have warm relations with Israel, is to expand its ties with the Jewish state by jointly investing in an underwater multiple energy pipeline project that will transport natural gas, oil, electricity and water between the two countries. A deal on the 'Energy Corridor' was struck by Turkish Energy Minister Hilmi Guler and Israel’s National Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Eliezer in a meeting in Jerusalem on Wednesday, the Turkey's Anatolia newagency reported. The speaker of Israel's Knesset parliament Daila Itzik described the project as 'very exciting', Anatolia said."
