There is a new Turkish movie out called �Takva,� and I suggest to all of my readers in Turkey that they go and see it, regardless of whether or not they speak Turkish. It is a simple story that I will outline below, which will be enough for all of you to follow the plot. If this movie had been released just a month or so earlier it would have met the Oscar deadline; if submitted, it would surely have collected the statuette for Best Foreign Film."
