"TURKEY: WORLD MAYORS ALARMED AT 'CLASH OF CIVILISATIONS'
Ankara, 3 July (AKI) - A gathering that brought together mayors and top local government officials from 62 cities around the world ended on Monday with a declaration expressing concern for the ongoing 'hostility between civilisations,' especially between the West and Islam. The document, known as the Ankara Declaration, was endorsed by participants at the Fifth Annual Glocalisation Conference which began in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on 1 July."
