"Turkey Attracts Record Foreign Investment

Foreign direct investment flow into Turkey hit a record-high $8.1 billion in the first five months of 2006, the Turkish State Minister for the Economy Ali Babacan has revealed.
Minister Babacan said that the foreign direct investment inflow to Turkey is expected to continue to increase in the remainder of 2006.
The highest inflow was observed in May when $6.6 billion in foreign direct investment entered Turkey."
