Calling himself a sea lover, Özkan Gülkaynak has embarked on a trip around the world in an 8-meter boat to raise awareness of coastal destruction.
Gülkaynak, 37, told the Anatolia news agency before departing port that he has been acquainted with the life of the sea since he was a child and that he began his voyages at 15. He said Turkey has unique natural beauties and bays that can be found nowhere else in the world. "
