"Erdogan Hosts A Luncheon For Ambassadors Of E U-member States
ANKARA - Finnish Ambassador to Turkey Maria Serenius said that Turkey should expand more efforts to implement the reforms in its EU accession process.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted a luncheon for ambassadors on the occasion of Finland's taking over rotating EU presidency from Austria.
Speaking at the luncheon, Serenius said, ''the EU's enlargement will be discussed in December 2006. The discussion will cover all aspects of further enlargement including the absorption capacity of the Union. However, the debate is not aiming at creating new criteria for enlargement nor leading to a withdrawal from the commitments given.''"
