"FOREIGN UNIVERSITY: ALUMNI GATHERING, OZPETEK AWARDED
(AGI) - Perugia, Jul 18 - In conjuction with the beginning of the 2006/2007 academic year for the Foreign University of Perugia, on July 22 and 23 there will be the first gathering of the Alumni Association. The University wishes to enhance its history for its 80th anniversary. The programme will involve the City of Perugia, public and private organisations. There will be guided tours to se the artistic and cultural heritage of the city and there will also be speeches by some of the alumni (about 200 guaranteed their attendance,) including General Governor of Canada Michalle Jean. An honorary degree will also be awarded to Turkish director Ferzan Ozpetec."
