"Turkish Cypriots' desire for solution continues
The Turkish Cypriots' will to find a solution continues despite their continued despair due to economic and political isolation, found a public survey released on Tuesday.
The survey conducted by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Foreign Ministry showed that the demand to renegotiate the Annan plan increased from almost 14 percent in 2004 to 33 percent in 2006. Some 55 percent of Turkish Cypriots said that they would vote in favor of the plan if another referendum were to be held."
