Turkey is ranked among top five producers and exporters of textiles in terms of capacity, Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Union (ITHIB) Chairman Ismail Gülle stated.
Country enjoys balance of production in textile and apparel sectors. Though countries like China and India have decisive advantage over Turkey in terms of low - production and labour costs, yet, they cannot match up with its production elasticity and design value. "
