"Mardin hosts film festival without movie theater

The southeastern Anatolian province of Mardin, the single movie theater of which closed nearly two weeks ago due to the lack of an audience, is hosting a film festival, the Anatolia news agency reported on Tuesday.
The festival, organized jointly by the Mardin Municipality and the Culture and Tourism Ministry, kicked off on Wednesday and will run through June 18, featuring 71 short and five feature-length movies. "
