"Karamanlis extends support for Turkey's EU bid, urges more minority rights

The Greek premier extended his country's support for Turkey's bid to join the European Union yesterday while urging Ankara to grant more rights to religious minorities in Turkey and to reopen Heybeliada Seminary.
Greek Premier Costas Karamanlis made the remarks during talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan aimed at reviving confidence-building measures and further developing strategic relations between the two countries."
