"CHP grills govt over 'Islamist' leaflets

A main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy grilled the government yesterday over spreading and supporting religious propaganda.
Speaking at a press conference in Parliament, CHP Women's Branch head and Istanbul Deputy Guldal Okuducu claimed the government's policies which allow fundamentalist groups are also being adopted by ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party municipalities.
Criticizing leaflets distributed by AK Party municipalities in Istanbul, Okuducu read some out from them and said that nobody should say that they're unaware of what the government is trying to do. "
