Being stationed in Turkey can be an isolated duty station for U.S. military personnel. Compared to Germany, Italy or the United Kingdom, Turkish installations aren’t as geographically accessible to family members who want to visit.

But a recent policy change by the U.S. European Command and U.S. Air Forces in Europe will make it easier for servicemembers’ families to visit them by flying space available to Incirlik Air Base."
