"A 'Spring Operation' against PKK in the offing

For months, Turkey has been diverting its forces towards the southeast of the country in preparation for a massive operation against the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). The New Anatolian reported this story last week in an exclusive story, and now we see that the Turkish press has also realized that a major operation against the PKK is in the offing.
There's nothing strange about all this. Every year at this time PKK terrorists come out of their winter shelters and start to commit acts of violence, and the Turkish army hits back with military operations. This is a hit-and-run affair that continues well into the fall until harsh weather conditions prevent any further confrontations."
