"El Pais: 4 Countries Bloc Turkey-EU Negotiations
Top circulating Spanish daily, El Pais, has claimed in a story published today that four countries, France, Denmark, Greece, and South Cyprus, are blocking the negotiations between Turkey and European Union.
Political criteria brought up by the said countries and the blocking of accession talks; were discussed at the latest EU Ambassadors meeting in Brussels.
Spain, Finland, Britain, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Belgium, and Sweden rejected the proposal of political criteria introduced by aforementioned four countries with the pretext that members of the different cultures and the education of girls were subjected to discrimination. "
