Ankara - Tourists on the beaches of Turkey's Mediterranean coast are in for a bonus on March 29 where they will be in the perfect position to experience a rare total eclipse of the sun.

The eclipse will actually start when the moon moves directly between the sun and the earth with the moon's shadow falling first on the eastern tip of Brazil and will then speed eastward across the Atlantic ocean, through northern Africa, across the Mediterranean, into Turkey and central Asia and ending at sunset in Mongolia."
