"EP criticizes slowing Turkish reforms

Elmar Brok, the chairman of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee, criticized Turkey for slowing down the reform process in 2005 in his new report that puts European Union's enlargement policies under the magnifying glass.
'Political transition process slowed down in Turkey in 2005 and there are inequalities in the implementation of reforms,' Brok said in his report underlining that the beginning of negotiations should have added fuel to the implementation of other reforms."
