Recently there's been a series of reports on violence in schools on TV and on the front pages of newspapers. Young boys and girls are now suspects in horrible murders. First people asked each other, 'How come they're allowed to carry guns and knives and bring them into school?' but then we heard our education minister and prime minister both commenting in the same way on these violence incidents, with one saying, 'They're just rare, minor cases but the mass media is trying to make them seem like everyday occurrences. This is untrue. We're asking members of the press not to run such stories on their front pages because it's becoming an incentive to do such things.'"
