Turkish Airlines is about to launch it's first international flights from Istanbul's second airport Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International airport (SAW).
THY has been successfully using this low cost airport for domestic flights for some times and now, according Mr.Halil Tokel from THY, the airline will launch it's first international flights from SAW to Berlin Schoenefeld after 3.June.2006. Twice a week flights will depart from SAW on every Thursday and Saturday and will return the next early morning. Mr. Tokel added that they would be more international flights from SAW in the near future to service the people living on the Anatolian side of Istanbul and other major places like Gebze, Yalova, Bursa and Kocaeli.' "
