Even before the March 8 Women’s Day is upon us, the conferences and festivities have started. One of them was the conference on 'Increasing Women’s Participation in Politics' organized by the Arı Movement and the Swedish 'Jan Hjalmarson Foundation.' It was a wise decision to cooperate with a Swedish institution on the issue of women’s participation in politics because, as you know, with 49 percent participation rate, Swedish women are the best represented in the world. Additionally, women’s participation rate in the work force is around 85 percent."
