The Turkish government has increased research and development funds to export more information technology, and they launched a new project to take greater advantage of Turkish scientists abroad.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordered a government taskforce to inventory Turkish scientists working abroad in specific scientific areas such as information, satellite and space technologies.

All Turkish scientists residing in the United States as well as Europe will be sought through different channels to contribute to different international projects that Turkey plans to initiate.

The government has launched project to benefit from the works of Turkish scientists abroad.

“I have complete confidence in our human potential and in Turkish scientists,” Erdogan said."
