"Turkish Central Bank, Seeking Governor, May Leave Rate on Hold

March 23 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey's central bank may leave the benchmark interest rate unchanged as acting Governor Erdem Basci tries to reassure investors amid departures from the policy-making committee, a survey of economists shows.

The bank will set the overnight borrowing rate at 13.5 percent for a third month, according to all 12 economists surveyed by Bloomberg on March 17. The bank will announce its decision between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. today in Ankara."
