The Netherlands yesterday shared with Turkey its prescription to deal with the cartoon crisis sparked by the publication of cartoons mocking Islam's Prophet Muhammed, which drew anger among Muslims.

Ambassador Phillip De Heer, secretary-general of the Dutch Foreign Ministry, listed the three elements of the prescription as 'prudence, communication and dialogue' during his contacts with Turkish officials in Ankara on Tuesday."
