"Turkey talks with Hamas, angers US, Israel and EU

The Turkish government's surprise invitation to the political leader of Hamas has upset the U.S., Israel and European countries, accusing Ankara of undermining their campaign to isolate the group to force it to give up violence. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stepped back following strong criticism and government sources said that Erdogan won't meet with Hamas' political leader Khaled Mashaal."
