NICOSIA, Jan. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos said on Tuesday that he did not see anything new in the latest proposal on Cyprus presented by Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul.

'I don't see anything new. This is the proposal which I believe does not consist anything else but an effort by Turkey to avoid its obligations towards Cyprus and the EU,' Papadopoulos said at Larnaca airport upon his return from a working visit to Russia.Papadopoulos made the remarks after Gul presented U.N.Secretary General Kofi Annan a new plan on Cyprus problem, which allows opening Turkish ports, airports and airspace to Greek Cypriot ships and planes if Turkish Cypriot isolation is lifted.'This is not the first time that Turkey asks for exchanges to do what she is obliged to do,' he added."
