Lawyer calls Belgium ‘banana republic’ over Erdal flap

The lawyer for the family of prominent businessman Özdemir Sabancı, who was murdered almost a decade ago, harshly criticized the Belgian judicial system for a November court ruling that decided Belgium could not try a Turkish woman implicated by Ankara in the killing."
